I am a self-taught Canadian Artist who has worked in the local region for the past 20 years. I am best known in the area for the murals in Demers Centre, Quebec on the Allumettes Island. I appeared on Regional Contact in April 2011. Search on my name in their website and see my video.
I have designed Christmas Cards for the Child Poverty Action Network, and also Christmas Cards Breast Cancer Dragon Team in Ottawa, Ontario.
For the past several years I have concentrated on depicting the local history and culture of the area. From my new studio on Allutmette Island I am working on the Heritage Collection. I recreate images from the past in my unique sepia style. Each painting is carefully researched for accuracy.
The sepia paintings are of scenes in the late 1800s and early 1900s. I have now progressed to a new collection focusing on the 40s 50s and 60s. These are done in black and white as they were done in the day. Please check out my new collection and come back often for more updates!!
I can also take present days scenes and paint them in the sepia style to preserve them for future generations.
